The Paddock is a stone cottage on our farm, about a mile from Portmahomack village. It's single-storey, so everything is on the ground floor. The garden is yours to use, and it looks south over our fields and the Moray Firth. You can see the Cairngorms on a clear day.
It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and a family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We keep it clean and comfortable. The layout means the main living area gets the sun and the view.
The village is a proper working harbour with a good sandy beach. There's a shop, a cafe, and a famous seafood restaurant. The local pub is about half a mile up the lane. Tarbat Ness lighthouse is a good walk from the village, about two and a half miles each way.
If you want to explore, Tain is fifteen minutes' drive. They have more shops, and the Glenmorangie distillery is just outside the town if you like whisky. The cathedral city of Dornoch is about half an hour away, across the Firth.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right outside.
