East Tarrel Cottage
East Tarrel Cottage is in North Tarrel, near Portmahomack. It's a detached cottage on its own, set back from the road. The views are across fields to the sea.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is downstairs, the other is a shower room upstairs. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The wood burner works well. There's parking.
It's a quiet spot. Portmahomack village is about two miles away. There's a beach there and a couple of places to eat. The Tarbat Discovery Centre is in the village too, if you're interested in the local history.
For a proper walk, the Tarbat Ness Lighthouse is good. You can walk out to it from Portmahomack along the coast. The golf at Tain is ten minutes by car. Royal Dornoch is about twenty minutes away.
The cottage is pet friendly. You can bring two dogs. There are plenty of fields and tracks around here for walks straight from the door.
Inside, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. It's just a straightforward place to stay.
