Sonas House
Sonas House is in North Kessock, on the Beauly Firth. It's a detached modern house, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeps six. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The big picture windows are the main thing. You look straight out over the water. You'll see the dolphins, seals, and birds from the living room. The Kessock Bridge is right there, leading over to Inverness.
The village has what you need. There's a shop, a pub, a restaurant, and a café all within a ten minute walk. You can get straight onto waterside and forest walks from the house.
Inverness is about half a mile away, over the bridge. So you've got the city stuff – shops, cinema, places to eat – but you're coming back to a quiet bit of coast.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.
If you want to explore, the Black Isle coast has good beaches. Culloden Battlefield and Loch Ness are about a 20 minute drive. The National Trust for Scotland and Highland Council sites have ideas for days out.
