Viewhill Villa

Viewhill Villa is a semi-detached house on a quiet street in Inverness. It's a short walk into the city centre, maybe ten minutes. You can leave the car.

The house sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional. It's not a luxury hotel. The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you have kids.

You're right in town for shops and restaurants. For a day out, Loch Ness is about a 25 minute drive south. You can get boat trips from there. The Cairngorms National Park is to the east, about 40 minutes to Aviemore. If you want to drive the North Coast 500 route, it starts right here.

There are a lot of historic sites nearby. Culloden Battlefield is a ten minute drive. Fort George, which is a big old artillery fort, is about 25 minutes north along the coast. It's good for a walk.

For wildlife, the Moray Firth is known for dolphins. The Scottish Dolphin Centre is in Spey Bay, which is roughly an hour's drive east. They have a visitor centre and you can sometimes see dolphins from the shore.
