Balnacraig is a detached house in North Kessock, up in the Highlands. It looks out over the Moray Firth towards Inverness. The view is the main thing. You can see it from most of the windows.
It sleeps ten people. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms, so it’s practical for a bigger group. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s been done up well inside, everything works and it’s comfortable.
You’re about three miles from Inverness. It’s handy for shops and places to eat. The village of North Kessock is a short walk away. There’s a pub and a shop there.
For things to do, Inverness has the usual stuff. Culloden Battlefield is close. Fort George is a drive away. Loch Ness starts south of the city. You can get boat trips from various points on the Moray Firth to look for dolphins.
There’s woodland right behind the house with trails for walking or mountain biking. Plenty of golf courses around. The Cairngorms National Park and Aviemore are about a 40 minute drive if you want to go skiing in winter or walking in summer. The Malt Whisky Trail is over that way too.
The house has a hot tub. There’s parking on the drive. It has WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets allowed, sorry.
