Mile End Cottage
Mile End Cottage is a stone croft house about a mile from the centre of Inverness. It's detached. The garden is enclosed, with a deck out the back through the patio doors. It's quite private there.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. It's open plan inside, so it feels spacious. The ceilings are high. The walls are thick stone, so it's quiet and stays cool in summer.
You're about a ten minute drive from everything in Inverness. There's a shop five minutes walk away. A pub and a restaurant are about a mile up the road. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, you just drive into town.
You're in a good spot for seeing things. Culloden Battlefield is about fifteen minutes by car. Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness is about twenty-five minutes. The beach is a bit further, at Nairn, roughly half an hour.
Facilities wise, it's all there: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
