Ladybird Cottage is in Scaniport, just outside Inverness. It's a converted barn in a quiet spot surrounded by trees. The main house is nearby, but you've got your own space.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order and works well. There's a wood-burning stove for colder nights, which is nice. The garden is enclosed.
Inverness is about a ten minute drive for shops and things. The closest pub is about four miles. For a day out, Loch Ness is just down the road, maybe four miles. You can drive along the shore easily.
Within half an hour you can get to the Culloden battlefield, which is historical. Fort George is a bit further, but it's a good fortress to walk around. If you fancy the coast, the Moray Firth beaches are about forty minutes north. People often see dolphins there.
The place is set up for families. There's a cot and highchair. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Parking is right there.
