The Bothy is a one-bedroom cottage near Scaniport, on the road out to Dores on Loch Ness. It's part of a group of three places around an old steading, sharing a big garden. There's a croquet set and things out there.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything's on the ground floor. The shower is a good size.
You're about a ten-minute drive from the shore of Loch Ness at Dores. Inverness is about twenty minutes the other way. It's handy for getting about. The official tourist site has good information for planning.
From there, you can drive up the Great Glen to Fort William, or west towards places like Glen Affric. You're well placed for day trips.
The cottage itself is open-plan. There's a wood burner, a smart TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. There's parking for two cars right outside and a little courtyard table.
Because it's part of the steading, the main lawn area is shared with the other cottages. It's very peaceful.
