House By The Loch

House By The Loch is just outside Inverness, up past Loch Ness. It's a big, detached house right on the loch side. It sleeps nineteen, which is a lot. Nine bedrooms, six bathrooms.

It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's not just a big space, everything is done properly.

The view is the main thing. Every window looks over Loch Duntelchaig. It's very quiet out there.

Inside, it's set up for groups. The kitchen is huge with a big dining table and a bar area. There's a separate games room with a snooker table and console games. There's also a cinema room with proper recliner seats.

One thing to know is the stairs. They're fine, but it's a big house so there are a few flights.

On the ground floor there's a twin bedroom and a wet room that are wheelchair accessible. The whole ground floor has underfloor heating.

Outside, there's a large patio with a big table and a barbecue. The garden is lawned, with a stone wall, and it goes right down to the loch view.

It's a very child-friendly place. We have cots, highchairs, bed guards, plastic plates, and a lot of toys for young children.

The nearest pub and shop are about five and a half miles away in Daviot. For a bigger shop, Inverness is about twenty minutes by car.

You're well placed for getting out. Inverness is close for the city stuff. Loch Ness is about a half hour drive. Aviemore and the Cairngorms are within an hour for walking or skiing. The coast, like Nairn beaches, is about forty minutes.

Facilities: everything listed is included. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, all bedding and towels. WiFi works fine. Plenty of parking. No pets, sorry.
