Dhuallow
Dhuallow is in East Croachy, in the Highlands. It's a stone house, detached, on a 350-acre estate. It used to be a croft. The garden is south-facing, enclosed, and it's mainly lawn. The view from there is fields and mountains.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The inside has been done up, it's comfortable. There's a wood burning stove.
There's a pub about a mile away. The nearest shop is six miles, so you'll want to drive. Inverness is 17 miles for bigger shops.
The place is on an estate, so it's very quiet. You get a lot of wildlife around. There are several lochs close by if you're into fishing. Birdwatching is good here too.
You're well placed for getting out. Loch Ness is about a 20-minute drive. The Cairngorms National Park isn't far if you're heading that way. Inverness itself has the castle and you can get trips out from the coast.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to three dogs.
