Song Bird Cottage
Song Bird Cottage is in Scaniport, north of Inverness. It's a converted steading on a farm, so you're surrounded by trees and fields. Sleeps four, two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage is detached, so you've got your own space. There's a garden that's fully enclosed, which is handy. Parking is right outside.
You're about ten minutes' drive from the centre of Inverness for shops and things. The nearest pub or restaurant is about four miles away. There's a closer shop a couple of miles down the road.
Location wise, you're well placed. Loch Ness is a twenty minute drive. The Moray Coast, with some good beaches, is about half an hour to the east. Culloden Battlefield is just outside Inverness. If you want to go further, you can reach Cairngorms National Park in under an hour.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need. Washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing a baby. The stairs have a stairgate at the bottom.
