Stanford House is in Inverness. It's right on the River Ness. The house was built in 1909, so it's old, but it's been looked after.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms upstairs, and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The best part is the location. You can walk along the river path into the centre of town in about ten minutes. Inverness Castle is right there. You don't need the car for exploring the city. There are restaurants and a pub nearby, just a few minutes' walk away.
If you do want to drive, it's a good spot for seeing other places. Loch Ness is about 20 minutes south. The Black Isle is to the north. The Cairngorms National Park is under an hour away if you fancy some mountains. Cairngorms National Park has the visitor information.
Inside, it's a decent size. There's a living room at the front looking over the river, and another room at the back with a dining table and a wood burner. The kitchen is at the very back and leads out to a small courtyard garden. There's a toilet under the stairs.
You get bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking on site. No pets, sorry.
