Red Kite Cottage
Red Kite Cottage is on the Black Isle, just over the bridge from Inverness. It's detached, so nobody's through the wall. You've got your own land around you. The garden is big and fully enclosed, which is good for dogs. It backs onto a little bit of private woodland. From the deck you look out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one is a double and one has twin beds. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on the ground floor and the doors are wide, so it works if you have mobility issues. There's a ramp at the front.
The living area is all one open plan room. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine. We've put in an electric vehicle charger.
You're close to the A9 here, which is useful for getting about. The pub in the village is about three miles away. For a shop, you're better off in Inverness or at the big supermarket just past the bridge.
Fortrose is a ten minute drive. People go there for the dolphins. Rosemarkie beach is a bit further on, maybe fifteen minutes. It's a good beach for a walk. Further north, you've got places like Cromarty or the coast around Tain. If you head west, you can get to the Torridon area in a couple of hours, it's spectacular.

We take up to two dogs. All bedding and towels are included. The WiFi usually works fine.
