Moonshine Cottage is in Braefindon, near Culbokie on the Black Isle. It's a detached lodge. The garden is fully enclosed, quite big, and looks out over fields towards the mountains. You can let a dog off the lead in it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, both with their own little toilet and basin. Downstairs there's a proper bathroom with a big bath and a separate shower room. It has a 4 Star rating. The owners live next door, and they have ducks.
The main room is open plan with high ceilings and big windows facing the view. The stairs up to the bedrooms are open-tread, so they're a bit see-through if you know what I mean. It's all on one level except for the bedrooms.
The kitchen is well-equipped, there's a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and there's parking. It has a whole ventilation system which is good for allergies. The electric car charger needs arranging with the owners first, there might be a fee.
The village of Culbokie is about a mile away. It's got a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. For a beach, you're looking at about seven or eight miles to the coast.
Inverness is 14 miles to the east for bigger shops. The Black Isle is good for wildlife, you often see dolphins off the coast. For a proper day out, Glen Affric isn't far, maybe 40 minutes by car. It's good walking country.
Facilities: Everything's included like bedding and towels. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. The WiFi is there. You can bring up to three pets.
