The Pine Martin
The Pine Marten is a first-floor apartment above the old bakery in Avoch. It's in the middle of the village. There's a shared garden and patio out the back.
It sleeps seven, which is quite a lot. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. Then there's a double sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen is new and has everything you'd need. It's comfortable, not fancy.
You're right in the village. The shop is a two-minute walk. The chippy and Chinese are even closer. The beach at Rosemarkie is about ten minutes in the car, it's lovely sand. Fortrose is just along the road for more shops.
Inverness is about twenty minutes drive away if you need a big supermarket or the station. The Black Isle is good for cycling. There's golf and horse riding nearby if that's your thing. You can drive up to Cromarty too.
The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. It says it takes two pets, so dogs are fine.
If you're looking for things to do, the National Trust for Scotland has places all over, and The Highland Council site is good for local information.
