This is Pleasant Point. It's a detached bungalow on the edge of Rosemarkie, on the Black Isle.
It sleeps four, but in one bedroom. There's a double bed and two singles in that room, and the bathroom is en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept. Everything is on one level, no stairs.
The place is open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting area all together. Doors go out to a patio and a decent sized garden. You get the garden to yourselves. It's very quiet, just fields around.
It's about two miles to the shop and a pub in Rosemarkie. The beach at Rosemarkie is sandy and good for a walk, about a mile away. You can often see dolphins from the beach or the Chanonry Point lighthouse.
Inverness is a 30 minute drive over the bridge. Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle are about 40 minutes. Culloden is just outside Inverness.
If you like whisky, the distilleries on the Moray Firth coast are within a 30 to 45 minute drive. The west coast, like Ullapool, is a longer drive, but a very good day out if you want proper mountains and sea lochs.
The bungalow has parking, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
