The Wild Cat

The Wild Cat is in Avoch, on the Black Isle. It's a ground floor apartment in a larger house. It sleeps twelve, but there are only three bedrooms. They're big rooms with multiple beds, so it's set up for groups or families sharing.

It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and well-equipped. It's clean and comfortable.

You've got your own front door. Inside, there's a big living and dining space. The kitchen has what you need. There's a large conservatory with a wood burning stove, which is a nice spot. Two bathrooms, one with a shower. The garden and patio are shared with the other property in the building. There's a BBQ area you can use.

Avoch is a quiet fishing village. There's a shop and a couple of takeaways about a three minute walk away. The seafront is even closer. For a bigger shop, Fortrose is the next village along. The beach at Rosemarkie is about three miles away. It's sandy and good for a walk or a paddle, but the water is cold.

Inverness is about a half hour drive. You can get everything there. The airport is about the same distance.

For things to do: there's local golf, horse riding, and fishing. Good walking from the door. The Black Isle is good for spotting dolphins, especially at Chanonry Point near Fortrose.

Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Parking is on site. We have a cot and highchair. There are CCTV cameras on the exterior of the building for security. No pets, sorry.
