The Red Kite is a first-floor apartment in Avoch. It's in a building with a couple of other holiday lets, but the apartment itself is all yours. You get two parking spaces right outside.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything works. The kitchen is well-equipped, which I think is important.
It's about 200 yards to the village shop and a couple of takeaways. The seafront is a five-minute walk. For a bigger beach, you drive to Rosemarkie. It's about three miles, maybe ten minutes. It's a nice, long sandy beach.
Fortrose is close by for more shops. Golf is nearby too. Inverness is about half an hour's drive if you need the city or the airport.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's a shared garden area with a patio and a barbecue.
Just so you know, there are CCTV cameras on the outside of the building for security. They don't look into the private spaces.
