The Red Kite
The Red Kite is in Avoch. It's a first-floor apartment in a quiet building, with views over towards Fortrose from the living room. You get your own parking space.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower rooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, clean and everything works.
You're about 200 yards from the shop and the takeaways. The chippy is good. The seafront is a five-minute walk. For a nice beach, Rosemarkie is about a ten-minute drive.
Fortrose is just along the road for more shops and pubs. The golf course is there too. If you're after proper walks or history, Culloden is about half an hour away. Inverness is about the same drive.
The kitchen has everything you'd need. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
There are CCTV cameras on the outside of the building, just so you know.
For planning trips, National Trust for Scotland is useful.
