Callachy Cottage is in Rosemarkie. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours through the wall. You get a bit of garden and parking right there. It's up on a bit of a slope, so you can see the sea from the front. You can see Fort George across the water too.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a kingsize bed and one with two singles. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept.
The owner lives on the same site, so if you need anything or want advice on walks, they're there. They don't bother you.
You're really close to Chanonry Point, which is the spit of land just along the coast. It's famous for dolphin watching, you can sometimes see them from the cottage. The whole area is good for wildlife.
Rosemarkie and Fortrose are the nearest villages, about three miles. They've got pubs that do food, shops, that sort of thing. The beach is about two miles.
Inside, it's as you'd expect: a kitchen, a living room with the view, and a dining area. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
If you're driving, Inverness is about half an hour north. For a day out, Culloden Battlefield is a big one, or you can go up to Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness. Both are within about 30 minutes.
No pets, sorry. And if you're coming with a bigger group, there are a few other cottages on the same site you can book together.
