Callachy Cottage Rosemarkie

This is Callachy Cottage. It's a detached place in Rosemarkie. You're up a bit on a hill, so you get a clear view out over the sea towards Fort George. The view is the main thing.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms upstairs: one with a kingsize bed, one with twins. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.

Downstairs is just one big room really. The kitchen's at one end, then a dining space, then the living area with the big windows for the view. It's a straightforward layout.

Outside, there's a garden area and parking right there. The owner lives on the same site in another house, so if you need anything or have a question about walks, they're nearby.

You can see Chanonry Point from the cottage. That's the spit of land out in the firth. It's famous for dolphin sightings, probably the best spot around here for it. You get a lot of wildlife in the area: birds of prey, deer, that sort of thing.

The village of Rosemarkie is close. There's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a good beach. Fortrose is just next door as well. For a bigger shop, Inverness is about half an hour's drive north.

Inside, you've got the normal things: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
