The Dolphin
The Dolphin is in Avoch. It's a ground floor apartment in a building with a few others. There's a communal garden out the back you can use.
It sleeps eight, but that's in two bedrooms. So it's a bunk room situation. One room has bunk beds and the other is a double. There are three bathrooms, which is handy with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean.
Everything is on one level, which is good if stairs are a problem. The front door is wheelchair accessible.
You're about 200 yards from the seafront. It's a quiet fishing village. There's a shop and a couple of takeaways just up the road. For a bigger shop, Fortrose is a few minutes in the car.
The good beach is at Rosemarkie, about three miles away. It's a nice sandy one. You can walk along the coast to it from here if you fancy it.
If you're driving, Inverness is about half an hour. That's where the big supermarkets are, and the airport. The Black Isle is good for cycling or just driving around. The National Trust for Scotland has a few properties nearby, like the Boathouse at Fairburn.
It says it takes two pets. There's parking on site, and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi.
