Paterson Cottage Kilcoy

Paterson Cottage is near Kilcoy. It's on a working farm, ours, but you've got your own detached stone building. It's about 15 minutes by car to Inverness.

It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well inside, it's warm and everything works, but it's still a farm cottage.

The main room is open plan. Wood burner, stone walls, wood floor. The ceilings are high so it feels quite airy. The kitchen is new. Doors open straight out to your own patio and a bit of garden, which is enclosed.

It's very quiet. You look out over our fields. Sometimes you'll see the animals. If you're interested, we sometimes run bread and pizza-making courses here on the farm. You'd need to ask us about that separately if you wanted to do it.

Inverness is your nearest big place for shops and things. For days out, Culloden Battlefield is close by. The Cairngorms National Park is within half an hour for walking. Loch Ness is about the same.

The cottage has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog. It's mostly wheelchair accessible on the ground floor, but check with us about specific needs.
