Right, Stag Manor. It's in Kirkhill, about fifteen minutes from Inverness. A big, detached stone house.
Sleeps nine, in five bedrooms. Four bathrooms, so that helps with a group. Two bedrooms share a big bathroom upstairs. That one has a sunken bath with a TV in the wall, honestly. It's a thing. The other bedrooms have their own en-suites. One of them, called Bling Bling, has a day bed so it can sleep three.
Inside downstairs, there's a decent sized living room with a big TV and a fireplace. The kitchen has a table everyone can fit around. Off the main hall there's a pool table. It's right there when you walk in.
The decor is… memorable. There's a room themed around the Queen on stamps. Another one is like a James Bond thing. And there's a large lamp with figures on it. It's all in good nick, just very specific. A lot of wedding parties book it for the night before.
You can book it with the two other big houses nearby if you've got a really large group.
Facilities: WiFi, parking, all bedding and towels are in. It's got a 4 Star rating. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
The house is near a golf course. You're not far from the Moray Firth coast. Inverness is close for shops and restaurants. From there, you can get to Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, or into the Cairngorms. All within half an hour or so.
