Cruives Lodge

Cruives Lodge is a house near Beauly in the Highlands. It's right on the River Beauly. It sleeps twelve, so it's for a big group.

The main thing is the space. Six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom apart from one. It's detached, with a big garden that goes right down to the river. The dining room table seats a lot of people, which is useful.

Because it's on the river bank, there's no fence between the garden and the water. If you're booking with young children, you'll need to watch them carefully outside.

The village of Beauly is about a mile away. It has a good butcher, a bakery, a few places to eat, and some small shops. Inverness is about twenty minutes by car for bigger supermarkets and things like the cinema.

The location is quiet. You can walk from the door along the river. For golf, Castle Stuart is nearby. Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle are maybe half an hour's drive. National Trust for Scotland - Urquhart Castle has visitor information.

Inside, it's comfortable. There's a wood burning stove, a big kitchen with an Aga, and a utility room with a washer and dryer. WiFi is included. It's listed as a 4 Star property, which means it's well-equipped.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for several cars. Bedding and towels are provided.
