Foxhole Farm Cottage Ardendrain

Foxhole Farm Cottage is on our farm in Ardendrain. It's detached and looks out over the hills. It's quiet here.

It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and properly equipped. We've kept it in good order.

The stairs are a typical farmhouse style, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the fields. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you bring a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet.

For things to do, you're central for the Highlands. Inverness is about twelve miles away for shops and restaurants. Loch Ness is five miles from here. Drumnadrochit, where you can get boat trips, is about nine miles.

If you want a proper beach, Rosemarkie is a twenty minute drive east. It's good for a walk. For walking, cycling, or hill walking, you've got plenty of options nearby. The Cairngorms are about an hour's drive south if you're going that way.

In the cottage, there's a woodburning stove for the cooler evenings. We provide logs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
