Foxhole Farm Cottage is on a working farm near Kiltarlity, in the Scottish Highlands. It's detached. You're up a single-track lane, so it's quiet. You look out over fields and hills.
It sleeps seven people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are a standard steepness for a cottage.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
For local walks, the Moniack Writers Centre is about five miles away if you're on foot. Inverness is about a twenty-five minute drive. It's the closest city, with shops, restaurants, and museums.
Loch Ness is very close, maybe a ten minute drive. Urquhart Castle is on the shore there. Drumnadrochit is the nearest village for basics, about fifteen minutes away.
Within a half hour drive you can get to the east coast. Rosemarkie has a good beach. For a bigger day out, the Culloden Battlefield is about half an hour away, and Fort George is a bit further on. The Cairngorms National Park is to the south for walking.
