Learag

This is Learag. It's near Culbokie, about twenty minutes north of Inverness.

It's a two-bedroom detached house that sleeps four. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has twins. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a four star rating. It's clean and modern. Everything is on one level, apart from a couple of steps to the decking at the front.

The main room is open plan. Big windows on two sides look out over the fields. You can sit at the table or on the sofa and just watch the weather roll past. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher.

Outside, there's a deck at the front with glass railings. Around the back, there's a sofa and chairs, and a table for eating outside. There's a shed you can use for bikes or a paddleboard.

You get bedding and towels included. There's a washing machine, parking, and wifi. We leave some basic things for you like tea, coffee, and milk when you arrive.

Culbokie village is a five minute drive. It has a shop for groceries and a pub. Inverness is twenty minutes south. It's a proper city with supermarkets, cinemas, and plenty of places to eat.

You're well placed for exploring from here. Dingwall and Cromarty are close. The Black Isle is right there. You can drive up to Dornoch or Tain in less than an hour. Loch Ness is about forty minutes away if you want to go and have a look.

For planning trips, the VisitScotland Highlands page is useful, and the National Trust for Scotland Highlands guide covers some historic sites.
