Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is my place just outside Dingwall in the Highlands. It's detached, next to my house at the end of a quiet road. You look out over fields.

It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. The main room downstairs is all open plan. Big patio doors let a lot of light in. The sofa is huge, good for just flopping after a day out. There's a Smart TV on the wall. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and has everything you'd need.

Outside is a private, enclosed patio with a table and a barbecue. It's sheltered.

Dingwall is about a mile away. You can walk it in 20 minutes down a footpath, or drive in two. It's a proper town with supermarkets, a few shops, cafes, and some pubs that do food. The walk goes past Tulloch Castle, which has a restaurant.

Inverness is about 20 minutes by car. That's where you'll find the bigger shops, more restaurants, the cinema, and things like that. The river runs through it, nice for a walk.

You're well placed here for getting about. The Black Isle is close, with beaches and dolphin watching trips. You can drive up towards Beauly, or west towards Loch Ness very easily. The whole area is good for walking, fishing, or golf. The local course is about ten minutes away.

Facilities: Everything's included - wifi, electricity, bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. Parking for one car right outside. The cottage is all on one level inside, except for the stairs up to the bedroom, and there's a step up at the front door. No pets, sorry.
