Woodside Hut 1

This is Woodside Hut 1. It's on our farm in Bottacks, near Strathpeffer. It's a single, separate hut for two people.

You'll drive through the farmyard to get to it. There are sheep and chickens about. The hut is on a little plateau, so the views are good. You can see the strath, forest, mountains, and a bit of the sea in the distance.

It has one bedroom and one bathroom. The main space is open plan. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury.

Outside, there's a deck with two single person hot tubs. There's also a seating area with a firepit. The garden area is yours.

We leave a welcome pack for you with some of our own produce. Sometimes that includes honey from the hives on the hill.

For things to do, Strathpeffer is the nearest town, about five minutes by car. It's a Victorian spa town. The NC500 route is close by if you want to drive that. The Black Isle is just over the water. Inverness is about half an hour's drive. The west coast, like Ullapool, or up to John O'Groats, are both possible day trips.

Facilities: there's WiFi, parking right by the hut, bedding and towels are included. The hut is all on one level. No pets, sorry.
