It's called The Cairngorms, but it's in Contin, not up in the actual Cairngorm mountains. It's a bungalow on the edge of a campsite. You look out over fields towards the Black Water river.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two singles. One shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxurious. Because it's a bungalow, everything's on one level and the doorways are wide. Good if steps are a problem.
The garden is enclosed. It's not huge, but it's private and gets the evening sun. You can park right outside.
The village shop is a minute's walk away. The pub is about three minutes. They do food. Strathpeffer, that old spa town, is just down the road. You can walk there in twenty minutes.
For trips out, Inverness is about half an hour's drive. Loch Ness is about 40 minutes. If you fancy the coast, the beaches on the Moray Firth are maybe 45 minutes north. It's a good base for getting around.
Things here: it's got WiFi, TV, a washing machine, all the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets, sorry.
