Woodside Hut 2
This is Woodside Hut 2. It's on our farm in Bottacks, near Strathpeffer in the Highlands.
It's a one-bedroom hut for two people. Three Star rating. It's a simple, clean space. It's all on one level.
The hut is detached. You've got your own enclosed decking area outside with a seating spot and a firepit. There are two single person hot tubs on the deck as well.
You're on a working croft. You drive through the farmyard to get to it, so you'll see sheep and poultry around. It's a proper farm. We sometimes leave some eggs or honey from the place for you.
The view is good. You look out over the strath towards the Black Isle and the Cromarty Firth. You can see the sea from here.
For getting about, you're well placed. Strathpeffer is a Victorian spa town a few minutes away. You're right by the NC500 route if you're touring. John O'Groats is a couple of hours' drive. The west coast, like Ullapool or the road to Skye, is about an hour and a half. Inverness is 25 miles south.
The facilities list covers most of it. There's wifi, parking, all bedding and towels are included. It's an open plan living and kitchen area. The shower is in the bathroom. No pets.
