Loch Ness Contin

Loch Ness is a chalet on the edge of a campsite in Contin, looking over towards the river. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one floor.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean, warm and tidy, but it's not fancy. It's straightforward.

The living room looks out over the campsite and the decking is good for sitting out when the sun's out. You can often see red kites from there.

There's a shop about 50 yards away and a pub that does food about 200 yards. Both are handy.

You're near Strathpeffer, which is a Victorian spa village. Inverness is about half an hour's drive. Loch Ness is about 25 minutes away. The Moray Coast with its beaches is maybe 40 minutes. The access to the whole Highlands is good from here, so you can get to a lot of places for a day out.

Facilities: It has parking, WiFi, a TV, and all bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has what you need. The place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. No pets, I'm afraid.
