The Townhouse
This is The Townhouse. It's in Inverness, on a normal residential street. You're about three minutes' walk from the centre and the River Ness.
It's a tall, narrow house. It sleeps six, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The stairs are quite steep, as you'd expect in an old townhouse.
You get a permit for on-street parking. There's a small, private patio garden out the back.
You can walk to pretty much everything in the centre. There are good restaurants and pubs close by. The railway and coach stations are a few minutes' walk away. There's a local shop about 500 yards away.
Inverness is a good base for seeing the Highlands. Loch Ness is about a 30-minute drive south. Culloden Battlefield is very close. For a day out, you can drive to the Black Isle, or up to Ullapool which takes about an hour. The Isle of Skye is roughly two hours by car.
There's a golf course nearby. The leisure centre with its pool and tennis courts is just over the river, next to the islands.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
