Antfield House

Antfield House is a farmhouse near Lochend. It's about ten minutes from Loch Ness. The house is detached and sits on a decent bit of land, so you get views over fields to the hills. It's quiet.

It sleeps ten people, five bedrooms. Each of the four upstairs bedrooms has its own bathroom. There's a double bedroom and a separate shower room downstairs too. The stairs are fine.

Downstairs, there's a main living room and a separate snug room off it which is good if some people want to watch something different. The kitchen is big and has everything you'd need. There's a utility room with a washing machine and a pool table. That leads out to the patio.

The garden is fully enclosed, which is good for dogs and kids. It's mostly lawn. There's a small paddock next to it with horses and donkeys, but that's not for going into.

You're well placed here. Dores Beach on Loch Ness is a couple of miles away for a stroll. Inverness is about a twenty minute drive for shops and restaurants. The Culloden Battlefield is nearby, about fifteen minutes. Fort George is about half an hour up the coast. The Moray Firth coast for dolphin spotting is within that drive too.

In terms of stuff here, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and kept to a high standard.
