Bay View
Bay View is on the Esplanade in Oban. It's a first floor apartment. The name is accurate, you get a proper view out over the bay to the islands.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting area all in one. Big windows looking out at the water. There's an electric stove that looks like a wood burner for some extra heat.
You're right on the seafront. The town is behind you. The harbour, shops, and places to eat are a couple of minutes’ walk away. Oban is busy, especially in summer. It's handy, but it's not a quiet back lane.
For beaches, you need to drive a little way out of town. There's plenty of coastline to explore. You can get boat trips from the harbour to Mull, Lismore, and other islands.
The apartment has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
If you want to go further, Fort William and Glencoe are about an hour's drive north. Walkhighlands has good route details for the area. For local history, National Trust for Scotland Kilmartin Glen is about 40 minutes south.
