Kilbride Cottage is in Shannochie, on the south end of Arran. It's detached. You're up on a bit of a rise, so the views are good. You can see Ailsa Craig out to sea and the mainland coast across the water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, but it's a cottage. The garden is big and enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs.
There's a track right by the house that goes through the forestry. You can walk from there all the way across to Lamlash and Whiting Bay if you're up for it. It's a proper walk, but the dogs will love it.
For the coast, you're just a few minutes in the car from places like Kildonan. The whole island is good for walking. Brodick Castle is about a 25 minute drive north. The main village for shops and things is Brodick, but Lamlash is closer and has a co-op.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, parking, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
