High Bank is up on the hill in Pontesbury. It's detached, and it looks south over the fields. The view is good, probably the best one in the village.
It was all redone last summer. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and they each have their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's a bit nicer than your average holiday let.
The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen and dining area are open plan. There's a patio out the back, and a bigger garden at the front with seating to take in the view.
You're right at the bottom of Pontesford Hill. Lots of people walk up there. It's a proper hill, from an old volcano. The view from the top is the point. There are public footpaths all around here.
Pontesbury village has shops and a couple of pubs. It's about a fifteen minute drive into Shrewsbury if you need more. A bit further on, you've got Attingham Park and Hawkstone Park if you fancy a day out. Ludlow and Ironbridge are both within about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: parking, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
