Elsie's Cottage is in Pontesford, near Pontesbury in Shropshire. It's a detached place with a thatched roof. It's been in the family a long time.
It says it sleeps five. That's two bedrooms. One double downstairs, one double upstairs, and the upstairs sitting area has a double sofa bed. Just one bathroom, which is downstairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow. That's just how it is in a lot of these old cottages.
You get the large garden to yourselves. There's parking for two cars. You can bring up to two dogs.
Pontesbury village is a short drive away. It's got a supermarket, a butcher, a post office, and a few pubs. Shrewsbury is about ten miles away for a proper day out.
You're right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills. The Earl's Hill and Pontesford Hill are right there for walking. There are waymarked routes, some easier, some steeper.
If you want to explore further, Much Wenlock and Ludlow are both towns worth visiting and are within about half an hour's drive.
