The Olde Granary is a converted barn in Plealey, Shropshire. It's part of a small courtyard of similar properties, but it's got its own garden and terrace.
It sleeps nine people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well-equipped. It's an old building, from about 1600, so the ceilings are low in some places and the floors aren't always level. You'll see the original beams. It's warm and dry, but you'll know it's not a new house.
The village is quiet. There's a pub about a mile and a half away. You can start walks right from the door. For fishing, there's a place half a mile away. Arscott Golf Club is also half a mile.
Shrewsbury is about six miles. That's where you'll find the main shops, supermarkets, and a lot of restaurants. It's a nice old town.
Within half an hour's drive, you've got a few options. The Long Mynd and Stiperstones are great for walking and views. Ironbridge is about 25 minutes away for the museums. Ludlow is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes, but it's known for food and has a castle.
In terms of what's here, the listing covers it. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's also a games room in one of the outbuildings that guests can use.
