The Ragleth

The Ragleth is a pod on a working farm in Habberley. It’s part of the Eastridge glamping site. The setting is quiet, up in the Shropshire Hills.

It sleeps three, but it’s one open-plan room with a main bed and a small sofa bed. It’s ideal for a couple or a small family. The bathroom is en-suite. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well equipped.

The pod is straightforward. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There’s a shower, WiFi, and parking right outside. It’s glamping, so you’re in a nice pod with a proper bed.

You’re surrounded by fields and woodland here. The farm has its own walking trails and mountain bike routes you can use. There’s a good pub about four minutes’ walk down the lane. They do food.

The village of Pontesbury is five minutes away by car. It’s got a Co-op, cafes, takeaways, and a couple of other shops.

For a day out, Shrewsbury is about half an hour’s drive. It’s a proper medieval town with a castle, the abbey, and lots of old streets to wander. The Shropshire Hills AONB is all around you. The Long Mynd and the Stiperstones are right on the doorstep for walks.

Within about a 40-minute drive you’ve got Ironbridge, which is the UNESCO site, and Ludlow, which is known for its food and the castle.

The site has other pods, so there might be other guests around. No pets.
