Heron Cottage Bentlawnt

Heron Cottage is in Bentlawnt, which is near the village of Hope. It's semi-detached, right next to our house. We're here if you need anything, but you've got your own space.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and clean. The stairs are a bit steep, but they’re fine if you take your time.

There’s a wood burner in the main living room. We provide some logs to get you started. The kitchen has what you’d need. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs, but there's a pond so just be aware if you have small children.

You approach down a single track lane for about 150 metres. There are two gates to open and close. The fields around us have sheep in them, so dogs need to be on a lead outside the garden.

For walks, you can head straight out from the door. The view is over Bromlow Callow Hill. There’s a local pub within walking distance.

Shrewsbury is about half an hour's drive. It’s good for shopping and cafes. Ludlow is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. It’s known for its castle and food festivals.

A few other places within easy reach: Powis Castle, Wroxeter Roman City, and the museums at Ironbridge.

Facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for one car on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
