Callow Lodge Bromlow

Callow Lodge is in Bromlow. It's on a farm. The views are really good, out over the Shropshire and Welsh borders.

It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a detached lodge so you're on your own, but our house is next door. We're around if you need anything.

The place is all on one level. There's a walk-in shower. It has a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a TV. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and parking right there. You can bring one well-behaved dog.

The nearest shop and a pub are about five miles away in Minsterley. It's a proper village pub that does food.

For walking, you're right between two good spots. The Stiperstones is about a 15 minute drive. It's a proper rocky ridge, quite dramatic. The Long Mynd is about 20 minutes the other way. Carding Mill Valley there is lovely for a gentler walk up the stream. The Shropshire Hills AONB site has maps and ideas.

Shrewsbury is half an hour by car. It's a good market town with a castle, the river, and plenty of shops. Ludlow is about 40 minutes, known for food and its castle.

If you're interested in history, Attingham Park is near Shrewsbury and the Ironbridge Gorge museums are under an hour. Powys Castle is just over the border in Wales, maybe 25 minutes.

That's about it. It's quiet here, but you're not far from things if you want to go out.
