Callow Lodge
Callow Lodge is in Bromlow, Shropshire. It's a separate building next to our house, on our farm. The views from the front are the main thing, really. You look out over the fields towards the Welsh borders.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor. The shower is a walk-in one.
It's very quiet here. You'll see more sheep than people. The garden is yours to use and it's enclosed, which is handy if you bring a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet.
You need a car. The nearest shop and pub are about five miles away in the village. They're decent.
For walking, you're in a good spot. The Stiperstones and the Long Mynd are close. Carding Mill Valley is popular. Shrewsbury is about half an hour's drive for shops, the theatre, or a trip on the river.
In under thirty minutes you can also get to Attingham Park or Powis Castle. Ironbridge, Ludlow, and Montgomery are all within easy driving distance for a day out.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, parking right outside, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a bike store if you bring yours.
