Meadow Barn
Meadow Barn is in the tiny hamlet of Pennerley. It's an old stone barn from the 1750s, converted now. It's detached, so it's just you. The views are out over fields towards the Stiperstones ridge.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a double bed, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. Everything's included, bedding and towels.
The barn is about a mile and a half from the nearest shop and pub. You'll need a car. The pub in Pennerley does food. For walks, you step right out onto the Stiperstones. It's a proper hill ridge, quite rugged. The Shropshire Hills AONB site has good maps.
Bishop's Castle is the closest proper town, about a 15 minute drive. They've got a few good pubs and real ale breweries. Ludlow is about half an hour south for food and the castle. Shrewsbury is about 40 minutes north. Clun is smaller and closer.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed. There's parking right outside.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, and wifi. There's a TV and a barbecue outside. There's also storage for bikes.
