Marlow Lodge
Marlow Lodge is a static caravan on our family-run site in Snead, on the Welsh border near Churchstoke. It's a three-star place, so it's clean, warm and has what you need, but it's not luxury. It sleeps three adults max. There are two bedrooms and a good-sized shower room.
The lodge is detached. You've got your own decking area with furniture, looking out over the fields. It's very quiet here. The site is adults only, so it's peaceful.
Inside, it's all open plan. The kitchen has the basics. There's a TV, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. You park right next to the lodge.
For shops, there's a decent centre in Churchstoke, about two miles away. It has a supermarket, a butcher, and a petrol station. Bishops Castle is a short drive and has interesting little shops and a couple of breweries.
If you like walking, you're in a good spot. The Shropshire Hills are right here. Offa's Dyke Path is close by. For a day out, Welshpool has Powis Castle, which is worth seeing. The Visit Wales site has good ideas for the wider area. Further afield, you can get to Shrewsbury or the Ironbridge Gorge museums within about 45 minutes.
One thing to note: the lodge is on a slight slope. The decking has a few steps down to the grass. Just something to be aware of if mobility is an issue.
