Upper Stanbatch Cottage is in Bridges, up on the Long Mynd. It's a 19th century cottage, detached. The views are very good.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, it's comfortable but not posh. You can bring two dogs.
Getting to it is a thing. You drive up a steep track. It's proper farm country, very quiet. From the front gate you're straight onto National Trust land. You can walk for miles right from the door. The Shropshire Way is about 500 yards away if you want a marked path. The top of the Long Mynd is about a 30 minute walk.
The nearest shop and pub are two miles away, in Church Stretton. Church Stretton has what you need. Shrewsbury and Ludlow are both within half an hour's drive if you want a town or a market. Carding Mill Valley is nearby for a popular walk.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove for winter, a washing machine, a garden with a patio, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
