Lower Barn Woolston

Lower Barn is on the edge of Woolston. It's a semi-detached barn conversion. It's quiet. You look out over fields at the back.

It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are quite steep, which is common with these conversions.

There's a woodburning stove. It works well. We leave you some logs to get started. The kitchen has what you need. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's space outside for bikes if you're cycling.

You're about halfway between Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Church Stretton and the Long Mynd are close for walking. Ludlow has the castle and good food shops. Ironbridge Gorge is about a 40 minute drive. It's a World Heritage Site with museums.

Shrewsbury is maybe half an hour away. It's a proper market town with the river. For more organised walks or history, the National Trust and English Heritage have sites around here.

The nearest shop is about two miles away in the next village.
