Lower Barn is in Woolston, Shropshire. It's semi-detached and sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. You can bring two dogs.
It has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's a woodburning stove, which is nice in the colder months. Parking is right outside the door.
The cottage is on a lane. It's quiet. You're set back from the main road so there's no through traffic. The windows look out over fields.
You're about halfway between Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Ludlow is roughly twenty minutes by car. It's got a famous food market and the castle. Shrewsbury is about the same drive the other way. It's a proper town with the river and everything.
If you like walking, you're not far from the Clee Hills or the Stretton Hills. You can drive to the Long Mynd in about half an hour. For a day out, Ironbridge Gorge is a World Heritage Site with all the museums. That's about a forty minute drive.
Closer by, you've got Stokesay Castle and Craven Arms. Much Wenlock is worth a visit too. They all have pubs and shops.
