Dinhope Big Barn
Dinhope Big Barn is near Craven Arms in Shropshire. It's a converted barn, so it's big and the ceilings are high. There are a lot of old oak beams.
It sleeps fifteen people, in seven bedrooms. There are four bathrooms, and some are en-suite. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is accurate. It's clean and everything works, but it's not a fancy hotel.
The layout is good for big groups. There are two separate staircases, one for each wing, so it doesn't feel like everyone's on top of each other. There's a separate room for kids to watch TV or play.
The garden is large and it opens onto fields and a bit of woodland. You can walk straight out onto forested hills from the back.
For things to do, you're well placed. The Stokesay Castle and Acton Farm Museum are very close by. For walking, you've got Wenlock Edge, The Wrekin and the Long Mynd all within about a twenty minute drive. Further afield, you've got the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, the Severn Valley Railway, and Shrewsbury town centre, which are all roughly half an hour away.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs in Craven Arms, which is two miles down the road.
Inside, you've got everything on your list. Woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TVs. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Plenty of parking.
No pets, I'm afraid.
