Apple Cottage
The place is called Apple Cottage but there isn't an apple tree, just so you know. It's over in Culmington, near Ludlow. It's a barn conversion, all on one floor which is handy.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's been done to a good standard.
The main room has a wood burner and the ceiling is high with the original beams. It feels quite open. Outside, there's a little sitting area at the front and you share some bigger grounds with a view of the fields.
Ludlow is about five miles away. That's where you'll find the castle, the market, and all the good food shops and restaurants. The National Trust looks after the castle if you want to check opening times.
For walking, you're right in the middle of it. The Long Mynd, Stiperstones, Wenlock Edge, and the Clee Hills are all a short drive. Shropshire's Great Outdoors has maps and routes.
Closer by, there's fishing and a golf course within five miles. Church Stretton, Ironbridge, and Shrewsbury are all within about half an hour if you want a day out.
What's here: There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We've also got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
