Titchbourne Cottage is on our farm, near Stoke St Milborough. It’s a stone cottage, detached, and you get to it down a stone farm track. So it’s quiet. You’re away from roads.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well looked after. The renovation kept the old beams and flagstone floors. There’s a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
The cottage has its own enclosed garden. There’s a separate little studio out there too, if someone wants a bit of space to read or work. And there’s a large dog pen, which is handy if you’re taking the dogs out and need to pop to the shop.
You’re on the edge of the farm here, right by Clee St Margaret common. You can walk straight out onto it – miles of paths, no need to drive first. The views are really good. It’s an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
For shops and a pub, you’ll need to drive. The nearest are in Cleehill, about six miles. Ludlow is about a twenty minute drive. That’s where you’ll find the castle, proper restaurants, and the market. Shrewsbury, Hereford, and the Ironbridge Gorge are all within about forty minutes if you fancy a day out.
In terms of what’s there: the listing covers it. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We’ve included a BBQ and there’s plenty of outside space.
