The Old Kitchen

The Old Kitchen is a studio apartment in Burwarton. It's on the edge of the village, right next to the pub. You can see the hill from the garden.

It says it sleeps four. That's one double bed and a sofa bed in the main room. It's all open plan, so it's one big space with the kitchen, living area and bed. There's one wet room bathroom, which is on the ground floor. The whole place is step-free, so it's suitable for a wheelchair or if you have trouble with stairs.

The Boyne Arms pub is about ten yards away. The same people own it and the cottage. They do good food. The shop is a mile away in Cleobury North, so you'll want to bring the basics with you.

You're at the bottom of the Brown Clee. It's the highest hill in Shropshire. If you want a walk, you can start right from the door. Clee Burf is a shorter walk with good views.

Ludlow is about twenty minutes by car. It's got the castle and good markets. Bridgnorth is maybe twenty-five minutes, with the cliff railway. For a day out, Ironbridge is under half an hour. It's a World Heritage Site. Shrewsbury is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.

Facilities: there's parking, an enclosed garden, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. You can bring one dog.
