Damson Lodge
Damson Lodge is in Chetton. It's a single storey cottage built into a bank, so it's mainly on the ground floor. It's detached and sits on its own in a field. You have the patio and garden to yourself.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one level except for a couple of steps down into the main living area from the entrance.
The place is quiet. You look out over fields. There's a pub about a ten minute walk away in the village. Bridgnorth is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. The High Town is up the hill, the Low Town is by the river. The Cliff Railway connects them. The castle ruins are in the High Town.
If you like steam trains, the Severn Valley Railway runs from Bridgnorth. You can get a train to Bewdley or Kidderminster. There's good walking from the door. The Shropshire Hills, like the Long Mynd and Clee Hill, are about a 30 minute drive.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and satellite TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is right next to the cottage. No pets.
