This is Newhouse Farm Barn in Neenton. It's a converted stone barn, detached, so it's just you in there. It's in a quiet hamlet, basically a few houses and a pub.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well equipped. The main room has stone floors and a woodburner, which is good for cooler nights. Outside there's a patio with a private hot tub.
The local pub, the Neenton Inn, is about 300 yards walk. It's locally run and serves food.
You're about halfway between Bridgnorth and Ludlow. Ludlow has the castle, the racecourse, and the English Heritage site at Stokesay Castle is just outside it. Bridgnorth has the funicular railway and the Severn Valley Railway station. The Severn Valley Railway steam trains run from there.
Ironbridge Gorge is about a 25 minute drive. That's the UNESCO site with all the museums. Much Wenlock is closer, maybe 15 minutes. For walks, you're near the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge are both within half an hour.
Facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing little ones. It's fine for two well-behaved dogs. You can store bikes. There are golf courses around Bridgnorth and Ludlow if that's your thing.
